The 919 design by Specmar has the ORCA hull shape with a raised bow and reinforced construction, making it suitable for wild water boating.
The planing hull is suitable for speeds up to 70 km/hour which can be achieved with a single 220 HP engine. Cruising speed is around 50 km/hour. Scantlings and Construction are in compliance with CE category B.
Construction method is a combination of longitudinal and cross framing making this a very sturdy hull, also suitable for semi commercial applications. 2 pcs fisher lockers in the aft deck and a further two lockers inside the seat between aft deck and engine well provide ample storage space for fishing gear or other activities. The aft deck is self bailing and fully closed with flush hatches over the fish storage tanks. The design includes a 360 l capacity fueltank and a steering console.
The integrated “spray-rails” in the outer hull emphasize the sportive outlook of this design and help to reduce deck spray at lower speeds. The Specmar patented “Delta Skipad” in the bottom Construction ensures a high stability and excellent planning and handling characteristics.
The design and kit has been adapted and modified by Bruce Roberts Europe bv to comply with most European codes and rules, as well as production standards. The Bruce Roberts Europe pre-cut building kit consists of extremely accurate cut plate parts including precision markings and pre-forming of all parts.
A comprehensive set of assembly drawings and instructions compliment the kit ensuring efficient and fast assembly of this boat.
