Design 927 by Specmar is a further development of the Orca 919 and equipped with several extras such as a small but spacious and sportive looking cabin and a 320 L capacity fuel tank. The raised bow and sturdy construction makes this design suitable for fast cruising under most water and weather conditions on lakes and coastal waters.
The hull shape stems from the successful ORCA design with perfect characteristics for stability and handling at speeds up to 60 km/hour with a 220 hp single outboard.
Scantlings and construction comply with CE- category B (coastal waters).
As with most Specmar designed hulls, the construction is sturdy and robust with a combination of longitudinal and transverse framing, making her suitable for semi-professional applications. 2 Storage tanks below the aft deck and 2 further storage lockers in the aft deck bench between deck and engine bin provide ample storage facilities, even for longer trips. The storage lockers are equipped with panel hatches included in the design.
The integrated “spray-rails” in the outer hull provide a unique combination of hull strength and streamlined outlook. The Specmar patented “Delta Skipad” in the bottom Construction ensures a high stability and excellent sailing and handling characteristics.
