The EURO1400 Motor yacht is a semi-displacement motor yacht available in either an aft cabin (sundeck) model or a cockpit model. Designed with a flybridge and contemporary styling she is perfect for family cruising, entertaining and even longer range passages. Her airdraft of just under 3m40 also makes the EURO1400 the perfect yacht for most French inland waterways.
The aft cockpit model (ACO) of the EURO1400 is designed around her large, 14 square meters, cockpit and her spacious saloon at the same level. She can serve equally well as sport fishing boat or as well-appointed cockpit motor yacht. Below she has a large double stateroom forward and a upper/lower stateroom just aft. The galley is up allowing the cook to be part of the group and have nice visibility while preparing the meal. Similar to the aft cabin model the lower helm station is adjoining to the main saloon.
Her hullform is an evolution of the very successful Waverunner 40 semi-displacement hull. The forward section of her hull has considerable deadrise to reduce pounding in head seas while her aft section flattens out and rise to lower her resistance when operating below semi-displacement speeds. A full-length chine flat is incorporated into her hull to give lift at semi-displacement speeds and to knock down spray. A full keel and a balanced rudder complete het underbody.
The EURO1400 is designed to be built with a single screw main propulsion plant but a twin screw version is available. Engineering drawings provided within the kit or cutting files include machinery drawings showing sample equipment to begin your machinery systems planning.
As with all of Bruce Roberts Design’s yachts the EURO1400 is structurally designed to meet or exceed Germanischer Lloyd requirements for motor pleasure yachts compliant with CE-category A. She is available as CNC cutting files or delivered as a steel or aluminum pre-cut package.
