EURO 1600

The EURO1600 motor yacht is a semi-displacement type hull, providing two full standing height deck levels and a flybridge, making this design an ideal long range family or corporate entertainment cruiser. The roots of the design stem from the successful Waverunner 65 design by Bruce Roberts Goodson with over 100 yachts in the water today,

Her hullform incorporates Bruce Roberts latest thinking on cruising yachts. A single chined hull to reduce rolling, a higher prismatic coefficient to allow increased speeds when required. Similar to all other Euro design, the hull of the EURO1600 has integrated spray flat in het hull to knock down spray and to lift the bow in head seas or when running down swell. A full keel and balanced rudder complete her underbody.

The EURO1600 has the space available to provide accommodation for up to 8 persons plus all the facilities expected by today’s cruising yachtsman, including a large saloon with adjacent aft deck on the same level, wide side decks and foredeck with integrated seating area. The large flybridge deck (over 20m2), accessible from the built in stairs, is ideally suited for sun lovers and can be used for storage of a Dinghy or other equipment. The engine room has standing headroom and more than sufficient space to accommodate the machinery requirements of today’s cruising motoryacht.

Two spiral stair cases included in the construction give access to the forward and aft staterooms. The lower deck arrangement on the EURO1600 features a full width master stateroom and en-suite head. Up to three cabins in the forward section can be accommodated, alternatively two double bed cabins each with separate bath rooms facilities, leaving ample storage space.

Several machinery options are available for the EURO1600. They are available in single screw or twin screw, and can use a wet or dry exhaust system. Engineering drawings for the machinery options are provided with the kit or cutting files. The machinery drawings include sample lists of equipment to begin your machinery systems planning.

As with all of Bruce Roberts Design’s the EURO1600 is structurally designed to meet or exceed ABS’s and Germanischer Lloyd Category 1 requirements for motor pleasure yachts. She is available as CNC cutting files or delivered as a steel pre-cut package.
