The EURO1400 Motor yacht is a semi-displacement motor yacht available in either an aft cabin (sundeck) model or a cockpit model. Designed with a flybridge and contemporary styling she is perfect for family cruising, entertaining and even longer range passages. Her airdraft of just under 3m40 also makes the EURO1400 the perfect yacht for most French inland waterways.
The aft cabin model has ample room to provide accommodation for up to three couples with alternate arrangements containing an additional single stateroom. The main saloon is a perfect space for entertaining or retreating from the weather. The lower helm station located within the saloon ensures that the helmsman is still part of the action. The aft deck provides a lovely location for sunbathing or just watching the world go by. The engine room is located beneath the saloon sole with access through a large access hatch in the saloon sole.
Her hullform is an evolution of the successful Waverunner 40 semi-displacement hull. The forward section of her hull has considerable deadrise to reduce pounding in head seas while her aft section flattens out and rises to lower her resistance when operating below semi-displacement speeds. A full-length chine flat is incorporated into her hull to give lift at semi-displacement speeds and to knock down spray. A full keel and a balanced rudder complete the underbody.
The EURO1400 is designed to be built with a single screw main propulsion plant but a twin screw version is available. Engineering drawings provided within the kit or cutting files include machinery drawings showing sample equipment to begin your machinery systems planning.
As with all of Bruce Roberts Design’s yachts the EURO1400 is structurally designed to meet or exceed Germanischer Lloyd requirements for motor pleasure yachts compliant with CE-category A. She is available as CNC cutting files or delivered as a steel or aluminum pre-cut package.
